Feet first, first time
This is the latest in the life of yours truly.
Summer is now officially over for our hero, the Joshman. Actually, summer was over at the end of July because I had to attend summer school. However, the real Fall semester started on Aug. 14, so there is no way around it. The summer passed too quickly, and working mostly full time at a law firm didn't make the summer feel very summery anyway.
The classes that have started are my MBA courses at Sacramento State. I am on an academic leave of absence from McGeorge Law School until spring, when I will resume my law studies. I am in a great program, and I am excited for how open the future is. Stacie is not a fan of the great wide open, she loves to see finish lines and destinations. Unfortunately for my sweetheart, and fortunately for our financial stability, my joint JD/MBA degree will qualify me for almost any executive position, law job, or entreprenurial venture under the sun. We'll see what happens.
August is definitely the worst month of the year, bar none. Seriously, there is nothing on TV, no NBA basketball, and it means that school is starting back up again.
